I’m a bread lover…I’ll admit. BUT I might add I love it even MORE when I put yummy delicious things on top of it. I love eating this toast as a quick pre OR post workout snack. It provides me with the energy I need while at the gym and also gives me the carbs I need for muscle recovery. PLUS the kids love it…#momwin. The recipe is pretty straight forward. Ingredients
- 1 slice of 100% whole wheat bread
- 1 Tbsp. all natural peanut or almond butter
- sliced almonds
- unsweetened coconut flakes (or shredded)
- chia seeds
- drizzle of honey
- ripe banana
Instructions
- Toast bread.
- Spread peanut or almond butter on bread.
- Slice the banana and place on top.
- Add a sprinkle of almonds, chia seeds, and coconut.
- Drizzle with a bit of honey and enjoy!
